Dear Summer 2018 Families!
The little things are often the things we forget about! Which is why they may seem super random, but they will make a BIG difference during the summer. So here they are!
We really strongly encourage campers to have about $45 per week of spending money while they are here. We do a lot of trips into town, have a camp store, and give campers a lot of opportunities to learn how to budget their money. We have a "bank" on camp where they can "withdraw" money when they go on trips. Please let me know if you have any questions about this!
The New York City Van Pick Up Location:
Pier 40 Parking
Address: 353 West Stree, New York, NY 10014
Thank you to everyone for your patience with this!
Medications and Vitamins:
For all Medications, we should have detailed information on the Physical Form and Camper Information form. We ask that you bring the medications with you to Drop Off, and we will go over the instructions together. We also ask that all medication is sent in ORIGINAL packaging, with the labels for instruction, name, and dosage.
We will post photos everyday. We have general camp photos on Instagram (@longacreleaders) and Facebook (Longacre Leadership Camp).
We also have a private Google Photos Drive, where we will post A LOT of photos. This is a private drive, where only people who have the link can access the folders. You may share this link with loved ones, but we want to do our best to keep some of our photos private. Google Photos is pretty smart too, and once there are many photos posted, you will be able to search photos of your farmer more quickly! More details to come during the summer with the first upload of photos!
If you do not want photos of your child taken, or shared with anyone (other than yourself) please contact me as soon as possible!
PLEASE CONFIRM TRANSPORTATION DETAILS :)
This is in all caps because I would hate you to show up at a bus stop without a seat on the bus!
Here are the links to all of the previous Preparation emails as well, just in case you missed one:
Please Read these over!

Please don't hesitate to call with questions, excitement, nerves, or concerns! We start staff training, next Wedesnday the 14th, so our office hours may be a little weird, but we will always be available to chat! We can't wait to see you!
Lots of love from the farm,
Lindsay & Louise
